Hillary Gomes

Title

Hilary Gomes is a licensed and board certified pediatric neuropsychologist with clinical and research expertise in a wide variety of clinical conditions, including intellectual disabilities, dyslexia and other learning disabilities, language impairments, Aspergers and autism spectrum disorders, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

She has experience working with individuals, ranging from preschoolers to young adults. She received her Ph.D. from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and completed a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Before coming to Long Island she was an Associate Professor of Psychology at the City College of New York, and taught neuropsychological assessment of children and adults at the graduate level for over 10 years.

She is a Fellow in the National Academy of Neuropsychology and her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Autism Speaks Foundation.
