Mary Ann is a tutor at DaVinci Education and Research. She joined the DaVinci team in 2019 after working for 31 years in the public school system. She holds certifications in the areas of Speech and Language, Special Education, and Reading. Mary Ann has spent her career supporting students in a variety of educational settings ranging from Pre-K early intervention speech and language to middle and high school content-area instruction. She has also served as a Study Skills and Reading Specialist.

 Mary Ann is trained and experienced in a multitude of Orton-Gillingham based language programs, metacognitive comprehension and literacy-centered activities. She considers herself a life-long learner always hungry to learn a new strategy or teaching technique. In her spare time, you will find Mary Ann enjoying activities that connect with her athletic and creative side such as reading on the beach, running, decorative painting, and pottery.
