JOB DESCRIPTION/OBJECTIVE
Da Vinci is a multifunctional educational company that provides services designed to support the academic and social-emotional needs of our clients. The role of our Behavior Intervention/ABA providers is to provide the best-customized instruction and support for each of our clients while meeting their individualized educational needs. Our therapists are hired on a contractual basis and are required to travel to different locations. Each therapist will be given the opportunity to attend multiple professional development training throughout the year. It is required that the therapist attend at least 6 of these training sessions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with other Da Vinci divisions to provide support and growth
● Drive agreed upon business goals to successful customer satisfaction and financial outcomes
● Establish data-driven goals for individual clients
● Bi-weekly communication, unless there is an urgent issue, with Program Manager for District
Direct Services via. email (regarding student progress, identify any concerns within the building,
home or other staff etc.)
● Quarterly Reports
● IEP quarterly progress reports for appropriate students
● Track and submit student attendance
● Attend CSE’s upon request
● Attend at least 6 professional development trainings
● Committed to lifelong learning and personal development
● Attend administrative staff meetings (as needed)
● Monthly communication with Director
● Collect ongoing data for student
● Report student growth and development to supervisor
SKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Knowledge and experience with IEP’s
● Knowledge and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
● Effective interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including preparing all educational plans and
materials necessary for each lesson
● Flexible, able to work under pressure and changing priorities
● Experienced with data collection
● Experience providing behavioral support for individuals
● Must be available to move about the various schools and in various environments
● Able to meet deadlines
● Available to work after school hours
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE – REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis and implementing behavior strategies.
Preferred-Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Preferred-degree in psychology, education or related field of study
